Nevada at New Mexico State

Postgame Notes:
- With the 77-67 win at New Mexico State on Monday night, Nevada improved to 9-6 overall and 1-1 in WAC play, while NMSU fell to 8-7 and 1-1 in WAC play.
- The victory gave the Wolf Pack its first WAC win of the season and its first true road victory of the year (1-5 in road games this year). Nevada now holds a 33-11 in WAC road games since the start of the 2004-05 season.
- Sophomore Luke Babbitt led the team with his league-leading 10th double-double, scoring 26 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. He made 10-of-14 field goal attempts, including a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point land.
- For Babbitt, it marked the eighth time this year that he has led the team in scoring and his eighth 20-point game of year. Babbitt has scored at least 20 points in each of the last five contests.
- Babbitt paced four Nevada players in double figures for scoring with senior Brandon Fields scoring 13, sophomore Dario Hunt adding 12 and junior Armon Johnson tallying 10.
- Nevada never trailed in the game and held 38-31 halftime lead. The team's biggest lead was 17 points with 3:42 to play in the second half.
- Fields also tied his career best with five assists and no turnovers.
- Senior Ray Kraemer knocked down 3-of-4 three-point attempts for nine points. As a team, Nevada made 9-of-20 three-point attempts in the game.
- The Wolf Pack made 52.5 percent of its field goal attempts in the game, including 57.1 percent in the second half (16-28), marking the eighth time this year the team has been above 50 percent.
- Nevada outrebounded New Mexico State 38-29 and has now outrebounded its last 10 opponents. The Wolf Pack is now 8-4 when outrebounding opponents this year. In addition to Babbitt's game-high 11 rebounds, senior Joey Shaw tied his career high with nine rebounds and Hunt pulled down five.
- Nevada returns to action Saturday night, playing host to San Jose State at 7:05 p.m. Pacific Time as part of a doubleheader with the Wolf Pack women who play Boise State at 4:30 p.m. that day. Saturday night's game will tip off at 7:05 p.m. Pacific Time and can be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke calling the action.
