Nevada at Louisiana Tech

Postgame Notes:

- With the 77-71 loss at Louisiana Tech on Saturday night, Nevada fell to 8-6 overall and 0-1 in WAC play. The Wolf Pack saw its two-game winning streak snapped, while La Tech improved to 13-2 and 1-0 in WAC play.

- Nevada is now 4-6 in WAC openers all time and has opened conference play on the road seven times in 10 years as a member of the WAC.

- The team also fell to 0-5 in road games this year and holds a 32-11 in WAC road games since the start of the 2004-05 season.

- The Wolf Pack is now 2-5 in games decided by 10 points or less and has lost six games this year by an average of just 7.3 points per contest.

- Sophomore Luke Babbitt led the Wolf Pack with a game-high 24 points, the seventh time this season that he has led the team in scoring and his seventh 20-point game of the year.

- Babbitt paced three Nevada players in double figures for scoring with junior Armon Johnson adding 15 points and senior Joey Shaw chipping in with 13.

- Babbitt also turned in his league-leading ninth double-double of the season with a game-high 13 rebounds. Sophomore Dario Hunt notched his second game of the year with double-digit rebounds with 11 to go along with seven points.

- Shaw tied his season high for three-pointers made, knocking down 3-of-4 attempts from beyond the arc.

- Nevada outrebounded La Tech 43-36 and has now outrebounded its last nine opponents. The Wolf Pack is now 7-4 when outrebounding opponents this year.

- Nevada returns to action Monday night, traveling to New Mexico State. Monday's game will tip off at 9:05 p.m. Mountain Time (8:05 p.m. Pacific Time) and will be televised nationally by ESPNU with Todd Harris and Miles Simon calling the action. It can also be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke calling the action.
