Nevada at Fresno State

Postgame Notes:

- With the 87-77 loss at Fresno State Saturday night, Nevada fell to 12-8 overall and 4-3 in WAC play, while Fresno State improved to 11-10 and 4-3 in WAC play. The loss snapped  Nevada's two-game overall winning streak and its two-game road winning streak.

- Nevada also fell to 34-12 in WAC road games since the start of the2004-05 season.

- Sophomore Luke Babbitt matched his season high for the second game in a row and the third time this season with 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting. He scored 20 of his 29 points in the second half and went 8-of-11 from the field in the final 20 minutes. Babbitt led the team in scoring for the 12th time this season and the fourth consecutive game.

- Babbitt also became the 21st player in school history to reach 1,000 career points, reaching that milestone with a free throw with 4:47 to play in the game. He now has 1,005 career points and joins Armon Johnson and Brandon Fields in that elite club. Nevada has never had three active career 1,000-point scorers on its roster before now.

- Babbitt also turned in his league-leading 14th double-double of the year with 10 rebounds and added three assists, three steals and a block in the contest.

- Senior Brandon Fields added 18 points, tying his career best with four three-pointers made, while junior Armon Johnson added 13 points.

- Nevada made 10 of its first 12 shots in the game but went 19-of-52 the rest of the game.

- Nevada returns to action Saturday night, playing host to Hawai'i at 7:05 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center in its only home game in a stretch of four of five on the road. Saturday's game will be televised nationally by ESPNU and can also be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke and former Wolf Pack head coach Len Stevens calling the action.
