RENO, Nev. - Tahnee Robinson led four Nevada players in double figures but the University of Nevada women's basketball team fell to Fresno State 75-66 Thursday night in front of 733 fans.

With the loss Nevada fell to 10-9 overall (4-1 WAC) while Fresno State improved to 14-5 overall (5-0 WAC).

The Pack battled back to pull within five, 31-26, on a three pointer by Johnna Ward with 5:33 left in the half but Fresno State quickly pushed its lead back to double digits and led by 15 at the half, 44-29.

In the second half, the Pack cut the lead to single digits, 58-49, on a free throw by Marissa Hammond with 8:59 to play.  A free throw by Kayla Williams cut Fresno State's lead to eight, 60-52, with 7:45 to play but the Pack couldn't get any closer the rest of the way as Fresno State posted the 75-66 win.

As a team the Pack shot 48.0 percent (24-of-50) from the floor while Fresno State shot 45.5 percent (30-of-66).

"In the first half we showed our inexperience in a game like this.  We didn't do much right, we couldn't get in our sets and our turnovers put us behind the eight ball," head coach Jane Albright said.  "How we played in the second half is how I expected us to play the whole game."

Nevada will host LA Tech Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in a nationally-televised game on ESPNU.
