CORVALLIS, Ore. - The University of Nevada soccer team fell to host Oregon State 4-0 Friday night. With the loss, Nevada fell to 0-4 on the year while Oregon State improved to 3-1.
The Beavers scored their first goal of the match in the 23rd minute and took a 3-0 lead into halftime. Oregon State scored its final goal of the match in the 82nd minute.
The Beavers outshot the Pack 22-6 in the match including an 11-2 advantage in shots on goal. Six different Nevada players recorded a shot during the game with Ellie Stott and Erin Smith accounting for the Pack's two shots on goal.
Keeper Marie Cove played a full game for Nevada and made seven saves while Oregon State keeper Ashley Wood made two saves in 90 minutes for the Beavers.
Nevada will play at Portland State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
