Junior midfielder Jill Erickson has been named the Nevada Student-Athlete of the Week presented by McDonald's for the week of Sept. 14-20.
A native of Woodinville, Wash., Erickson has scored three goals in the last four games to lead the Wolf Pack women's soccer team to a 3-1 record. Her three goals in three straight games tied the school record for consecutive matches with a goal.
She scored game winners in victories over Fordham Sept. 11 and Sacramento State Sept. 13 and tacked on her third score at Minnesota on Friday. Erickson now has six career goals.
Nevada will announce a Student-Athlete of the Week each Monday on the official website of Nevada athletics, www.nevadawolfpack.com.
