Preseason Camp Report - Aug. 20
The Wolf Pack moved practice time up today because of a special event tonight -- The Blitz dinner at the Eldorado. This is a great event and a great kick-off to the season with all proceeds going back to the program.
Speaking of practice, Coach Chris Ault has closed practice to the public beginning Friday.
Today, the team worked out for two and a half hours with temperatures near triple digits at Wolf Pack Park.
CAMPER OF THE DAY: Senior safety Jonathon Amaya.
Ault has said throughout the offseason that Amaya needs to step up as senior this season and be a difference maker and a playmaker. The senior is having a solid camp thus far.
"Jonathon is working hard and he is helping the younger players along," defensive coordinator Nigel Burton said. "We need him to be a leader for us."
