Preseason Camp Report - Aug. 19
Following Tuesday's scrimmage, the Wolf Pack went through another set of two-a-day practices on Wednesday at Wolf Pack Park.
Head coach Chris Ault said the scrimmage tape graded out as expected and on par for the second scrimmage of the year.
"There are a lot of things we have to work with now that we have two scrimmages to see on video," Ault said. "There's plenty of good stuff, but then there is the bad and the ugly stuff, too. But we're starting to get an idea of where we are at and we have a ways to go."
CAMPER OF THE DAY: Redshirt freshman receiver Zack Quilici.
Quilici has done nothing but impress as the Pack is 16 practices into preseason camp. The Sparks High School product has some of the best hands on the team and his name is in the picture when it comes to the depth chart in the receiving corps.
"Zack has some good things going for him," receivers coach Scott Baumgartner said. "He has good hands and he's been running his routes and he's got good work ethic."
Here's offensive coordinator Chris Klenakis with more on Quilici:
