RENO, Nev. University of Nevada head women’s basketball coach Jane Albright and her staff handed out team awards at the Pack’s annual banquet celebration Sunday at the Peppermill.
The coaching staff handed out a total of seven individual awards at the banquet:

Academic Excellence Marianne Lombardi
Most Improved Shavon Moore
Rebounding Excellence Shavon Moore and Cherlanda Franklin
Free throw Megan Cherry
Capitans Dellena Criner and Cherlanda Franklin
MVP Dellena Criner
Nevada also honored five student-athletes who were named to the Academic All-WAC Team: Bre`Anna Henry, Shavon Moore, Marissa Hammond, Johnna Ward and Marianne Lombardi.
Nevada finished 18-14 overall under first year head coach Jane Albright. The Pack advanced to its first-ever WAC Tournament title game and beat #7/8 Louisville for its first win over a top-25 opponent.
