RENO, Nev. -- The Nevada football team will conclude the 2009 spring practice session with a scrimmage at Mackay Stadium on Saturday.
The controlled scrimmage will begin around 10:15 a.m. Fans are asked to sit on the West side of the stadium only and to stay off the field and track. Admission is free.
Because of the Western Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament at Lawlor Events Center this week, the parking lot south of Lawlor and in front of the Joe Crowley Student Union will not be available. Fans coming to the football scrimmage can park in any of the north lots (north of the stadium) or on floors 4, 5, or 6 of the West Stadium Parking Complex.
Nevada is coming off its fourth straight bowl appearance and the Wolf Pack returns 15 starters from last year's team. Nevada opens the 2009 season Sept. 5 at Notre Dame.
