Nevada at Pacific

December 5, 2009

Postgame Notes:

- Nevada dropped a 61-58 decision at Pacific Saturday night at the Spanos Center in Stockton, Calif. The Wolf Pack fell to 2-4 on the year and 0-3 on the road this season, while Pacific improved to 6-1 overall on the year. Nevada is also on a three-game losing streak, all on the road.

- The Pacific game marks the last of three consecutive road games and four of five away from home for the Wolf Pack, while Nevada heads home still looking for its first road victory of the year.

- Junior Armon Johnson led the Wolf Pack in scoring with 18 points. With a jumper with 12:30 to go in the second half, he scored his 1,000th career point, become the 19th player in school history to reach that milestone. He also became just the sixth player in school history to score at least 1,000 points and dish out 250 assists in his career. Johnson has now scored 1,004 points and turned in 288 assists in 73 career games.

- Junior Luke Babbitt turned in his fifth consecutive double-double with 17 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. He has had a double-double in five of six games this season. Babbitt went 6-for-10 from the field Saturday and made all five of his free throw attempts.

- The 58 points were a season low for the Wolf Pack, while Saturday marked the first time this year that Nevada has not had at least four players in double figures for scoring. The 61 points by Pacific also matched a season low for a Wolf Pack opponent.

- Freshman Marko Cukic turned in career bests for scoring (six points) and rebounding (five boards), making all three of his field goal attempts.

- Nevada returns to action Tuesday night, returning home to start a season-long four-game homestand with Fresno Pacific. Tuesday's game will tip off at 7:05 p.m. Pacific Time and can be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke calling the action.
