About this Game
   Nevada will look to break its three-game losing streak when the Pack hosts Washington State Tuesday at 7 p.m.  Tuesday night is "Keep Nevada Warm Night" and all fans who bring a coat or jacket to donate will get into the game for free.  Washington State is the second Pac-10 team Nevada will have faced this year.  Nevada fell at Arizona earlier this month.        

 About the Nevada Wolf Pack
   Nevada is coming off a 70-64 loss at Pepperdine on December 18.  Shavon Moore recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds while Tahnee Robinson scored 12 in her debut for Nevada. Nicole Williams scored 11 while Kayla Williams added 10.  Amanda Johnson recorded a career-high seven rebounds.
   As a team, the Pack is shooting 38.4 percent from the floor, 33.9 from three-point range and 70.7 percent from the free throw line.  Nevada is averaging 61.4 points per game while its opponents are averaging 59.8 points per game. The Pack is outrebounding its opponents by an average of 4.5 boards per game.  Nevada is averaging 10.2 steals per game and 13.4 assists per game.   
   The Pack is led in scoring by Johnna Ward who is averaging 12.5 points per game, Tahnee Robinson (12.0 ppg) and Shavon Moore (11.0 ppg).   Shavon Moore  leads the team in rebounding with 7.6 per game while Kayla Williams is second averaging 6.3 boards per game. 
   The Wolf Pack is coached by second-year head coach Jane Albright who has a 23-19 record at Nevada.

About the Washington State Cougars 
   Washington State is 5-5 this year and is coming off a 74-57 win at home over San Francisco on December 19.  
   April Cook leads three players who average in double figures in scoring with 13.3 points per game.  Kiki Moore averages 13.0 ppg while Jazmine Perkins averages 12.5 ppg.  Perkins leads the team in rebounds per game with 7.1 rpg while Rosie Tarnowski is second averaging 6.2 rebounds per game.
   As a team the Cougars shoot 34.6 percent from the floor, 25.1 percent from three-point range and 59.7 percent from the free throw line.
   Washington State is coached by June Daugherty who is in her third season.  

Promotion Tuesday Night  
   Fans can receive free admission to the Nevada/Washington State women's basketball game on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. with the donation of a new or gently used coat or jacket.
   On "Keep Nevada Warm Night," Nevada will take on Pac-10 opponent Washington State in Nevada's last home non-conference game of the year.

Nevada News and Notes
- Johnna Ward has scored in double figures in seven of Nevada's 10 games including two games in which she scored at least 15 points and one game in which she scored a season-high 21.

- Sophomore Brittany Woodard made her first start of the season and second career start at Pepperdine.     

- In each of the team's five wins this year the Pack is shooting 42.4 percent from the floor compared to the 34.3 percent Nevada is shooting from the floor in its five losses. 

- Nevada has had two games this year in which the Pack has outrebounded its opponent but lost the game - vs. UNLV (46-to-37) and at Pepperdine (42-to-37).

- Seven different players have led Nevada or tied for the team lead in scoring this season with Shavon Moore leading the team four times and Johnna Ward leading the team twice.

- Four different players have led or been tied for the team lead in rebounding led by Kayla Williams and Shavon Moore with five games each.    

- Since the beginning of the 2007-08 season, Nevada has recorded a 30-9 record at Lawlor Events Center.

- Nevada's bench has outscored or tied its opponents bench in scoring in nine of the Pack's 10 games this season. 

Moore Records Eighth Career Double-Double
Junior Shavon Moore recorded her eighth career double-double, and third of the season, with 12 points and 10 rebounds at Pepperdine.  Moore recorded one double-double as a freshman, four as a sophomore and three this season.    

Sharing the Ball
Through the first 10 games of the year the Pack has recorded 134 assists on 222 field goals, an average of 13.4 assists per game.  The Pack recorded a season-high 26 assists against Sacramento State, three shy of tying the program record of 29 set in both 2001 and 2006.  Amanda Johnson leads the team in assists (24) followed by Jennifer Gross (18), Holly Jones (17) and Marianne Lombardi (17).  

Road Woes
Nevada is 0-3 this season on the road and is 5-15 on the road since the start of the 2008-09 season.  Nevada will play four of its next five games on the road. 

Bench Production
Nevada's bench has provided some good minutes and scoring for the Pack this season.  Nevada's bench has outscored or tied its opponent in scoring in   nine of Nevada's 10 games this year including scoring 34 points at Pepperdine.  Kayla Williams averages 5.2 ppg and 6.3 rpg off the bench for the Pack while Marianne Lombardi averages 4.2 ppg and 4.2 rpg.

Robinson Makes Wolf Pack Debut
Junior college transfer Tahnee Robinson scored 12 points and added four rebounds in 24 minutes in her first game for Nevada at Pepperdine on December 18. Robinson, who averaged 29.8 ppg at Sheridan (Wyo.) College, was also a first-team NJCAA All-American last season at Sheridan College.

Hot from the Free Throw Line
Through 10 games this season, Nevada is shooting 70.7 percent from the free throw line as a team.  Two players are shooting 65 percent or better, one player is shooting 70 percent or better, one player is shooting 80 percent or better and one player, Johnna Ward who is 20-of-21 on the year, is shooting 95 percent from the line.  As a team, the Pack took a season-high 30 free throws and made a season-high 25 at Arizona.  Nevada shot a season high 90.9 percent from the line at Pepperdine.  

Ward Records 100th Career Three Pointer
Junior Johnna Ward entered the game against Sacramento State with 95 career three pointers.  She tied her career high and made five three pointers in the game and has 100 for her career.  Ward, who has made a team-leading 20 three pointers this year, has recorded 106 in her career and is seventh all-time, became the fifth player in program history to record at least 100 career three pointers.  Nevada's career leader in three pointers made is Ashley Bastian who made 212 during her career at Nevada from 1999-03.

Nevada Records Season-High in Free Throws Made
At Arizona, Nevada recorded season-highs in free throws made (25) and free throws attempted (30).  Nine of the 10 players who saw minutes at Arizona attempted at least two free throws and made at least one.  Shavon Moore recorded a team high eight attempts and made seven. 

Point Guards Record Career Highs this Season
Sophomore point guard Amanda Johnson and freshman point guard Holly Jones each recorded career highs in the last two games.  Johnson recorded a career-high 11 points against West Virginia on November 28 while Jones recorded a career-high 14 against Sacramento State. 

Wolf Pack Rewards Program
   As part of a grant from the WAC to increase attendance at women's basketball games, fans will be awarded points based on the number of women's basketball games they attend.  Fans are encouraged to stop by the promotions table located by the band to swipe or pick up their Wolf Pack rewards card.  
   Fans are awarded one point per game and two points per game for the month of December.

Upcoming Schedule
The Pack will travel to San Diego, Calif., on December 28 and 30 for games against the University of San Diego on December 28 and either Cal or Boston College on December 30.  The Pack will close out non-conference play on January 2 at BYU.
