Postgame Notes:
- With a 92-72 victory over South Dakota State Saturday at Lawlor Events Center, Nevada evened its record to 4-4 this year, while SDSU fell to 4-6. The Wolf Pack also improved to 4-0 at home this season.
- Senior Brandon Fields led the team in scoring for the second time this season with 20 points. It was his third 20-point game of the season and his ninth career. He went 8-of-14 from the field and made a pair of three-pointers.
- Tonight also marked the seventh time in eight games that Nevada has had four players in double figures for scoring. Junior Armon Johnson turned in 17 points, sophomore Luke Babbitt had 16 and senior Joey Shaw added 13.
- Babbitt also turned in his seventh consecutive double-double with 10 rebounds to lead the game.
- Nevada turned in a season-high 10 steals in the game, including a career-best three apiece by Fields and sophomore Dario Hunt.
- Nevada's 92 points were the second-most for the team this season. The WAC scoring leader at 81.2 points per game, the Wolf Pack is averaging 90.5 ppg in the last two contests.
- The Wolf Pack shot 53.8 percent from the field in the game, marking the fourth time this year that the team has been above 50 percent this season.
- All 12 players who saw action tonight scored at least two points, including freshman Keith Fuetsch who scored the first four points of his career.
- Freshman Marko Cukic turned in career bests with seven points and six rebounds. In the last three games, he has averaged 6.0 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
- Nevada outrebounded South Dakota State 43-36, improving to 3-2 on the year when outrebounding its opponent.
- Nevada returns to action Thursday night against Eastern Washington (4-5), continuing its four-game homestand with a pair of home contests in the HOOPTV Las Vegas Classic. Thursday's game at Lawlor Events Center will tip off at 7:05 p.m. Pacific Time and can be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke calling the action.
