RENO, Nev.- The Wolf Pack men's tennis team will travel to Moraga, Calif. Nov. 6-8 to compete at the Gael Classic.
ABOUT THE GAEL CLASSIC: The teams participating in the Gael Classic include Nevada, Saint Mary's, Stanford, Cal, USF, Santa Clara, Cal Poly, UC Davis and Sonoma State.
There will be three flights in the tournament. The third flight will be a round robin event due to the number of players. There will be a singles consolation.
Matches on Friday will begin with Doubles at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Two rounds of singles will follow.
The Wolf Pack has five players in the Gael Classic. Sophomore Wessim Derbel is the tournaments number one seed and will receive a bye in round one of the Red A bracket. Derbal will then play the winner of Cal's Tommie Murphy vs. Saint Mary's Micheal Carreno in round two Friday at 2 p.m. Junior Kristian Kuharszky is seeded eighth in the White A bracket and will play Sonoma State's Connor Olsen 11 a.m. Senior Gabe Kanzelmeyer is the 15th seed, will face Santa Clara's Eugene Muchynski in round one at 11:15 a.m. Wolf Pack seniors Antone Bulich (19) and Alex Daruty (32) will individually play Sonoma State's Quan Vu and Taylor Bianco, respectively in the opening round.
In doubles play seniors Daruty and Kanzelmeyer will team up against USF's Rainer Nachbauer and William Schumacher. Kuharszky and Derbel will face Cal's Bijan Hejazi and Tommie Murphy. Both matches will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday's play will start at 9 a.m. and will include two rounds of doubles followed by a round of singles.

LAST TIME OUT: The Wolf Pack last saw action at the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships. Sophomore advanced to the semifinals as he knocked off seventh-seeded Gustave Diep of New Mexico State, 6-3, 6-2 to move into the semis. Derbel then fell to UU's Phillip Eilers, 6-3, 6-3. Wessim Derbel
Laurent Garcin moved into the fourth round of the consolation bracket but fell to BYU's Daniel Hwang. Garcin had won three straight matches in the consolation bracket prior to that match.
