Postgame Notes:

- Nevada dropped an 85-76 decision at VCU Friday night at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Va. The Wolf Pack fell to 2-2 on the year and 0-2 on the road this season, while VCU improved to 4-1 overall.

- The VCU game marks the first of three consecutive road games for the Wolf Pack in a stretch of four of five away from home, while Nevada is still looking for its first road victory of the year.

- Sophomore Luke Babbitt led four Wolf Pack players in double figures for scoring with a season-high 27 points. He went 12-of-25 from the field and scored 23 of his 27 points in the second half on 10-of-14 shooting in the final 20 minutes.

- That marked the 17th time in 37 career games that Babbitt has led the team in scoring and the second time this season. It is also his second 20-point game of the season and his 13th career contest with 20 or more points.

- Senior Joey Shaw added 14 points, senior Brandon Fields had 13 and sophomore Dario Hunt scored a career-high 10 points.

- Hunt also turned in his first career double-double, pulling down a career-best 13 boards in the game.

- Babbitt notched a double-double for the third consecutive game and ninth time in his career with 11 rebounds to go along with his game-high 27 points.

- Fields also matched his career high with nine rebounds as Nevada outrebounded VCU 50-45. The team is now 1-1 when outrebounding its opponent this season.

- Nevada shot just 35.4 percent from the field (29-82) and 7.1 percent from the three-point line (1-14) in the contest. The Wolf Pack also had its worst shooting half of the season at 26.8 percent in the first half but rebounded with a 43.9 percent effort in the final 20 minutes.

- VCU shot 49.2 percent in the game, a season high for a Wolf Pack opponent.

- Nevada turned the ball over a season-low seven times.

- Nevada returns to action Sunday night, traveling to Chapel Hill, N.C., to take on No. 11/12 North Carolina. Sunday's game will tip off at 6:38 p.m. Eastern Time (3:38 p.m. Pacific Time) and will be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net with Tim Brando and Mike Gminski calling the action. The game can also be heard on Nevada's flagship, ESPN 630 AM, with Ryan Radtke calling the action.
