RENO, Nev. - There are two promotions scheduled for the Nugget Classic Friday and Saturday at Lawlor Events Center.
The following two promotions are good for both days of the women's basketball tournament:
"Faith and Family Weekend"- fans who bring their church bulletin to the game will get in free along with four family members.
Also, fans in middle school who wear their team basketball jersey to the games will get in free. Free attendance is for the player only and teams do not have to come as a group.
Nevada will host the annual Nugget Classic this Friday and Saturday. Nevada will take on Columbia at 2 p.m. on Friday while Iowa will face West Virginia at 4 p.m. The consolation game is schedule for Saturday at 5 p.m. while the championship game will be played at 7 p.m.
The Pack has won the last two Nugget Classic titles defeating Idaho State in 2007 and nationally-ranked Louisville last season.
