On the defense…

“I thought our defense stood up and did a nice job today. We made some improvements. We made some critical, consistent plays. We came up with some major turnovers. We were struggling all year but we overcame adversity today.”

 On the offense…

“We were off. Although we had 312 rushing yards it seemed like 190.”

“I am disappointed in our execution and the fundamentals; we have done well all year, just not tonight.”

On Hawaii…

 “They played well and hard, they are the best passing team we’ve played since Notre Dame.”
