Seats for Students
The University of Nevada would like to give tickets to a Women’s Basketball game to EVERY elementary and middle school student and teacher in Washoe County. And we need YOUR help to do it!
- The Wolf Pack are asking people to support our teachers and students by purchasing season tickets to donate to area schools
- A $100.00 donation will purchase a PACKage of 4 season tickets for teachers/students
- Lawlor Events Center is the home for all Wolf Pack Women’s basketball games. The 11,500+ seat arena offers a great seat for everyone
- We want to fill the Lawlor Events Center with kids and teachers from Washoe County schools
- All seats are general admission, which guarantees all kids can get close to the action
- The 2009-‐2010 schedule includes 17 home games
- All donations are tax deductible
What's included in the package?
Each ‘Seats for Students’ PACKage includes 4 season tickets: 1 adult season ticket ($40.00) + 3 student season tickets ($20.00 each) = $100.00 With four season tickets for 17 home games during the 2009-‐2010 season, your $100 donation allows 68 tickets to be distributed throughout the year to deserving teachers and students. This price has never been lower and is an affordable way for you to show your appreciation and support for Washoe County schools. What an awesome opportunity for students and teachers to see positive role models competing at the highest level.
How will you use the tickets?
The tickets will be distributed directly to Washoe County School Principals and Administration, meaning we do ALL the work. The tickets will be used to reward deserving teachers and students throughout the year for excellence in the classroom. It is a simple way to say a big “THANK YOU” to our teachers, something they can’t hear enough, and encourage students to shine in the classroom.
