Following a record-breaking 70-45 victory over Idaho on Saturday, coach Chris Ault’s Nevada football team continues to lead the nation in rushing, widening its lead over second-place Georgia Tech to more than 28 yards per game. Nevada is now averaging 320.14 yards per game on the ground after a 484-yard rushing performance against Idaho.
With 662 yards of total offense, Nevada is now averaging 505.57 yards per game of total offense and the Wolf Pack is second in the nation in that category.
Nevada is 10th nationally in scoring offense and eighth in the country in tackles for loss per game.

Individually, Nevada now has two rushers in the top 26 nationally as Vai Taua (101.5 ypg) and Colin Kaepernick (98.7 ypg) are 23rd and 26th, respectively. Kaepernick is 14th nationally in total offense per game at 282.57 yards per game. He also leads the WAC in that category. Kaepernick leads the nation in yards per carry at 9.94 ypc. Mike Ball is now 14th in kickoff returns at 29.69 yards per return.
And Dontay Moch continues to lead the nation in tackles for loss per game as the junior is tied with Wisconsin’s O’Brien Schofield at 2.36 TFLs per game.
