She beat two defenders and slotted the ball to Miranda Montejo who got off a hard shot, but Montejo barely mistimed her run and was called offside.

The Pack’s best chance of the first half came in the 42nd minute. Patrice Godwin took the ball out of the back to just outside the Portland State 18-yard box. Godwin found Alyx Sacks who had her shot blocked by a Viking defender. Natalie Ratnavira collected the loose ball and saw the keeper off her line but her shot went high.

Portland State recorded its first goal of the game in the 70th minute. Portland State played a long ball back into the Nevada defense. Devin Noe headed the ball straight up in the air and as the ball was coming back down, Nevada goalkeeper Sarah Hunt came off her line to the edge of the 18-yard box. Hunt couldn’t come up with the save and Lauren Leale tracked down the loose ball and found Kat Robertson who put the Vikings up 1-0.
Portland State increased its lead to 2-0 in the 82nd minute. A Portland State player fired a shot that deflected off Nevada’s Erin Smith. Dolly Enneking collected the rebound and scored on a shot from 18-yards out.
