RENO, Nev. -- The Nevada men's tennis team fell 4-3 to Weber State on Friday.

The teams dealt with high winds during the match, which came down to a third-set tie-breaker in the No. 2 singles match. Weber State won the doubles point and two singles matches and Nevada had rallied back with three wins in singles (1, 3, and 5). At No. 2 singles, Nevada's Alex Daruty and Weber State's Sascha Kiehne battled but Kiene won the third set in the tie-breaker to give Weber State the win.

"I am proud of the way the guys battled but we need to execute at a higher level throughout the entire match to be more productive," coach Chad Stoloff said. "When we have leads, we need to be able to put the nail in the coffin."
