Reno, Nev. -- The Nevada football team will hold its first scrimmage of the spring season on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
The Wolf Pack, coming off its second straight bowl appearance, is nearing the halfway point of spring practice and Saturday's controlled scrimmage will be the first of three scrimmages this spring. Practice will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the scrimmage will start around 10:15 a.m.
"We're looking for some good contact," head coach Chris Ault said. "We'll be taking a look at a lot of things on both sides of the ball that we've been working on this spring."
The scrimmage is open to the public, however fans are asked to sit in the stands and not stand on the sideline or track at the stadium.
