DENVER The 61st-ranked Nevada tennis team fell to No. 46 Denver 5-2 on Friday at the Stapleton Tennis Center.

The Wolf Pack got a singles victory from sophomore Caroline Bailly in the No. 2 position as she knocked off No. 90 Ute Schnoy, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2.

Nevada also won the doubles points by winning two of three matches. Maria Mizyuk and Ly-Huong Dinh beat Schnoy and Rachel Sackmaster 8-5 while Bailly teamed with Laetitia Tan to beat Kyla Iwinski and Julia Bauregger 8-4.

But the Pack was swept in the other five singles matches and lost to the higher-ranked Pioneers.

Nevada will return to action next week with a dual at Oregon.
