Postgame Notes:
- With the 104-75 victory over Cal State Stanislaus, Nevada wraps up the non-conference season with an 8-5 record. The four-time defending Western Athletic Conference champions begin league play on Saturday, Jan. 5, playing host to conference co-favorite Utah State at 7:05 p.m.
- Nevada scored a season-high 104 points and topped the century mark for the first time since turning in a 101-76 win over Rice on Jan. 24, 2004 in Reno.
- The Wolf Pack also turned in season highs for rebounding (57) and rebounding margin (57-26, +31 in the win).
- This afternoon marked the second time this season that five Wolf Pack players scored in double figures. Seniors Marcelus Kemp and Demarshay Johnson led the team with 19 points apiece. For Johnson, that marked a season high.
- Sophomore JaVale McGee turned in his team-leading third double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. He also led the team in rebounding for the sixth consecutive game.
- Sophomore Brandon Fields added 14 points, while sophomore Matt LaGrone chipped in with 10.
- Sophomore Richie Phillips made his first appearance of the season after missing the first 12 games with the stress fracture.
