RENO, Nev. University of Nevada soccer team members Lauren Kinneman and Aivi Luik were named to the NSCAA/adidas College Women’s Soccer All-West Region honorable mention team.
Kinneman, a biology major from Sammamish, Wash., just completed her senior season with the Pack. She played in all 22 games for Nevada including 21 starts and recorded one goal and four assists during the season. Kinneman has a 3.77 GPA and is planning on attending medical school next fall.
Luik, a native of Gold Coast, Australia, is majoring in general studies and has a 3.37 GPA. She ended her two-year career with Nevada in 2006. Luik was a team captain in 2006 and started 21 of Nevada’s 22 games. She recorded three goals and two assists and was named team MVP.
Nevada finished the 2006 season with its best overall record in program history, 13-5-4. The team also won its first WAC title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
