RENO, Nev.   Saturday's football game between the University of Nevada and UNLV is being televised by the Mountain West Sports Network (the mtn.), but that channel is not carried by cable companies or satellite providers in the state of Nevada.

The University of Nevada requested permission to televise the game locally on KREN-TV but did not receive that permission from the Mountain West Conference and CSTV, which partnered to launch the mtn. in September.

Since it was launched less than a month ago, the network is still in negotiations with cable and satellite providers to get the mtn. added to television lineups. More information about the Mountain West Sports Network is available online at www.themtn.tv.

The Nevada-UNLV game will be broadcast on the Wolf Pack flagship radio station, ESPN Radio 630 AM with Dan Gustin and Billy Daniel calling the action. The game can also be heard on 104.5 FM KDOT this week.
