DENVER The Western Athletic Conference continues the Play Up Tour for 2006, starting with the football season. Play Up seeks to improve the public and private perceptions of the WAC and its members through national, local and regional touch points.
After a successful Tour in 2005, the WAC has continued its promotion of Play Up, announcing its nine football stops. The Play Up Tour heightens awareness for the WAC brand as well as reinforce the association between the schools and the WAC.
Along with media coverage, each site will feature a prominent alumni from each institution signing autographs. The WAC will also be giving away a number of fan prizes, including helmets signed by each head coach and a chance to win a trip for two to the New Mexico Bowl.
