Due to the cancelation of its flight, the University of Northern Iowa women’s soccer team will arrive in Reno significantly later then expected, which causes a change to the Nevada Tournament being hosted at Mackay Stadium this weekend.
Northern Iowa was slated to play Weber State on Friday at 4 p.m. Due to this complication in the Panthers’ travel plans, that match has been moved back to 9 p.m. This change in schedule does not affect the first match for the hosting Wolf Pack who play Wisconsin-Green Bay at 7 p.m.
The remaining schedule for the tournament will proceed as scheduled, with Nevada playing Northern Iowa on Sunday at 2 p.m. and Weber State playing Wisconsin-Green Bay earlier that day at 10:30 a.m. This is the first action at home for Nevada, after starting off the 2006 season 1-0 for the first time in the program’s history.
