Sacramento, Calif. Senior Traci Graham led Nevada with 15 points and became the school’s all-time steals leader as the Wolf Pack topped Sacramento State 75-42 Friday night at the Hornet’s Nest.
Graham was credited with five steals on the night and moved past Carissa Meyer and Angie Heer into first place on Nevada’s career list.
The Wolf Pack broke a four-game skid and evened its record at 4-4 on the year.
Sacramento State lost its seventh straight and the Hornets are now 1-7 on the season.
Nevada’s defensive pressure was the key to the victory as the Pack tied a school record with 22 steals on the day. Sacramento State turned the ball over 37 times in the contest.
Brandi Fitzgerald was sidelined in the first half with foul trouble but came back to score 12 points. Guard Dellena Criner also scored 12 points for Nevada, which will continue its road trip as it takes on Washington in Seattle on Sunday.
