Reno, Nev. - The University of Nevada placed two players on 2005 All-Western Athletic Conference Tournament team. Senior Salaia Salave`a was selected for the fourth consecutive year, and junior setter Tristin Johnson was honored for the second year in a row.
Salave`a averaged 3.57 kills, 1.71 digs, .86 blocks, and hit 228 in two matches. In the semifinals versus top seeded and eighth ranked Hawai`i she posted a match high 20 kills, and hit .389.
Johnson averaged 13.43 assists, 1.86 kills, and 1.43 digs in Nevada's two matches. In the Pack's first round victory over Idaho she totaled 35 assists, and followed that with 59 assists versus Hawai`i.
