The last three Western Athletic Conference tournaments have been played in the Virginia Street Gym which is the home of the Wolf Pack volleyball team. The 2005 WAC Tournament will remain in Reno but switch venues traveling north on Virginia Street to Lawlor Events Center. The nine-team tournament will be played Thanksgiving Weekend, Nov. 24-26 with the title match airing on College Sports Television.
The 11,784-seat facility is the permanent home of the Nevada men's and women's basketball teams. Lawlor Events Center was the site of the 2005 men's and women's WAC basketball tournament and will host the event again in 2006.

From Reno-Tahoe International Airport:
Take 395 north to westbound Interstate 80(Exit 68). Turn north at the Virginia Street exit 13 and travel approximately 1.0 mile to 15th street. Several parking areas and two parking garages are within walking distance of the events center. The West Stadium Parking Garage, the main parking garage, is located on the north side of Lawlor Events Center.
