University of Nevada Athletics

Rebecca Murray, a senior on the women’s swimming and diving team, has been named the University of Nevada Student-Athlete of the Month for November. 

Murray is an international student-athlete while also holding a team captain role. The Falkirk, Scotland native is graduating this spring with an accounting degree and pursuing a graduate degree after this semester.  Murray is in line to take the certified public accountant exam and will be starting an internship with Deloitte this summer. With a cumulative GPA of 3.89, she has had two semesters of achieving a 4.0 GPA. 

In the pool, the senior has helped the Pack to three consecutive meet wins and a 4-0 record on the year. Murray is a member of the No. 22 relay squad in the 400 medley relay, which also broke the pool record at the UC Davis dual meet.
