At the Cal Invitational, freshman Melissa Huchet went 5-0 in her singles matches and defeated Nadine DelCarmen of Santa Clara 6-1, 6-3 in the finals to win the White Singles bracket. This tournament was Huchet's first collegiate tennis action.
