University of Nevada Athletics

Suzanne Affeldt joined Nevada Athletics in August of 2024 and serves as the university’s Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development and Alumni Engagement. 

Prior to her time in the high desert, Affeldt spent time on the development team at Syracuse (2023-24), Dartmouth (2022-23), and University of Arizona (2011-22). During her time at Arizona, Affeldt played an integral role in four major capital campaign projects undertaken by Arizona Athletics: 

• Lowell-Stevens Football Facility - $72 million
• 4 + 1 Campaign - $67.9 million 
• Phase I of the McKale Center Renovation Project -  $30 million  
• Ginny L. Clements Academic Center - $7.2 million

In her role at Nevada, Affeldt leads the development team with a clear focus on increasing Wolf Pack Athletic Association memberships, enhancing relationships with a dedicated donor base, and securing major gifts to support capital projects, unrestricted funds, and the overall mission of the department. 

Affeldt, a graduate of the University of Arizona, is joined in Reno by her husband Tom.
