University of Nevada Athletics

Samuel Tarver joined Nevada Athletics in October of 2024 as an Assistant Director of Development, Donor Relations.

Prior to his time in Northern Nevada, Tarver worked several stints on the men’s basketball coaching staffs at the University of Texas at Arlington, Wake Forest University, and University of Tennessee. 

A graduate of The University of Tennessee, he would go on to earn a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Native to Knoxville, Tennessee, Samuel now calls Reno home.
