University of Nevada Athletics

Kim Anastassatos re-joined Nevada Athletics in 2007. Since then she has worked a myriad of positions on her way to becoming the University’s Associate Athletics Director for Special Events. Along with her dedication to the university from an administrative level, Anastassatos also serves as the head coach for the cheerleading team.

A native of Reno, Kim was on the Nevada cheerleading team (1992-96) and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies. After her time cheering on the silver and blue, she spent four years as an assistant coach for the cheerleading team and as the head dance coach. She left the university in 2000 to start her own cheerleading company.
