2022 (Fr.) - Made an impact right away in the circle for the Pack ... Recorded six wins, including the win against Cal Poly on March 13, where she threw a complete game of nine innings ... Garcia also recorded a season high of 11 strikeouts on the win against Fresno State on May 6 ... Finished the season with a 4.85 ERA in 22 games starts and strikeout a total of 103 players in 118.1 innings played. 

PRIOR TO NEVADA
Played at the MT. Baldy League, CIF Southern Section, and Division 2 ... Was a volleyball letter player for three years (2017 - 2019) while in four years for softball (2018 - 2021) ... Won League Championship Volleyball (2019), Won League Championship Softball (2018,2021) and Jurupa Valley Tournament Champions (2018, 2019) ... Was First Team All league Volleyball in 2017,2018,2019, Offensive Player of the Year in 2017, was team MVP in 2018, 2019 and League MVP Volleyball in 2019, Southern California Athlete of the Week in 2017,2018,2019 ... For softball, she was First Team All league in 2017, 2018,2021, Team MVP Softball in 2018,2019, League MVP softball in 2021, was First team all CIF in 2021, Extra Innings Softball Player of the week in 2019, Top 50 Southern California Pitcher in 2020 ... She also Led Mt Baldy League in ERA and Home runs Scholar-Athlete 2017 - 2021 and was also IE Preps- Best Dual Athlete in the Inland Empire. 

She has an ERA of1.40, 326 total strikeouts, .398 career batting average, and  25 home runs.

Daughter of Luis and Shannon Garcia ... Father played football at Eastern Michigan University ... Has two brothers, Andrew and Brandon ... Was recruited by San Diego State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, UC Davis ... Chose Nevada because "I fell in love with the campus and community from the moment I stepped foot here. Everybody is so welcoming here and it's a huge college town. The culture of the Nevada softball team has created was something I wanted to be a part of and there's nowhere else I'd rather be." ... Has her dad as her hero ... Her most memorable game was in her freshman year of high school, her softball team made a run at CIF and made it to the CIF Southern Section Semi-Final game. She got to pitch that game and also scored a homerun ... In her free time, she loves to hangout with her friends and family, get dressed up and coach softball to young girls.
