REDSHIRT FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2018) – Recorded a personal best in the 800 meter of 2:23.48 at the Rainbow Relays … Placed sixth in the race … Also competed at the Mountain West Challenge and Bulldog Invitational.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN INDOOR (2017-18) – Ran the 800 meter leg of the Distance Medley Relay at the UW Invitational … The team ran a time of 12:03.90.
High School – Earned a varsity letter her last three years in high school in both cross country and track & field … received the 2016 Coach’s Award … was a member of the CIF Southern Section, DI California State and Nike Cross National champion teams … has a personal best 5000 meter cross country time of 19:13 … holds a personal best of 5:19 in the 1600m … personal best of 59.4 seconds in the 400, an event where she qualified for the CIF Prelims … personal record in the 800 comes in at 2:15.5
Personal – Daughter of Kevin and Leslie Lawson … has one little brother, Trevor … plans on pursuing a nursing degree … was a member of National Honor Society in high school … chose Nevada because of the beautiful campus and surrounding environment and the politeness of everyone
