SENIOR OUTDOOR (2021) – Competed in four meets during the season ... Earned a personal best and finished in 2nd at the Bobcat Invitational in the 5000m with a time of 17:08.38 ... Earned a personal best and finished 2nd in the 3000m at the Mountain West Challenge with her time of 10:06.02 ... Has a pair of 4th place finishes in the 1500m at the MW Challenge and the Fresno St. Invitational. 

SENIOR INDOOR (2021) – Did not compete. 

JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2020) – Canceled due to COVID-19

JUNIOR INDOOR (2020) – Ran in only two meets during the indoor season ... Was a part of the Distance Medley Relay team that finished 7th at the Mountain West Championship ... Finished in 5th place in the mile run at the Boise State Challenge with a time of 5:07.66.  

SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2018) – Did not compete (redshirted).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN INDOOR (2017-18) – Ran the mile twice in the year … Recorded a personal record of 4:58.58 at the UW Invitational, just outside of the program’s top 10 …  Also competed at the Husky Classic.

FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2017) – Set a collegiate personal record in the 1500 meter of 4:33.43 at the Bryan Clay Invitational … Competed in a total of six meets, including the Mountain West Outdoor Championships … Placed second in her section of the 1500 at the UCLA Legends Invitational and third at the Fresno State Invitational.

FRESHMAN INDOOR (2016-17) – Did not compete (redshirted).

HIGH SCHOOL – Competed in the 1600 and 3200 meter … Has a personal best in the 1600 meter of 4:52.71, a time that would place her in the top 10 in school history in the mile (approximate) … Has a best 3200 time of 11:04 … Best cross country 5000m time came at the 2015 CIF State Cross Country Championships when she crossed the finish line in 17:55.60 and placed 10th … Placed seventh in the 1600m at the CIF-SS Masters Meet.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Nancy Ortega, who she lists as her role model … Lists her sports hero as Pre Fontaine … Plans to major in community health sciences … Has one little brother, Jacob … Chose Nevada because of the great CHS program and the athletics … Was also recruited by San Jose State, University of San Francisco and Cal State Fullerton.
