FRESHMAN INDOOR (2022) – Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL - Went to Reno HS ... Competed in both track and cross country ... Was the State Champion in Cross Country (2019) and 4x regional Champion in cross country ... Athlete of the year for the northern region in 2021 ... First team all-region in 2021 and  First team all-state cross country in 2017-19 ... Was also the Regional Champion in the 1600m, 800m, 3200m, and 4x800 for track in 2021.

PERSONAL - Daughter of Erika Bein and James Smerdon ... Father James was a skier at the University and was on the U.S Olympic C team for skiing ... Has a brother named Harvey ... Majors in Art ... Chose Nevada because of the location and since it seemed like the best option ... Recruited by California Polytechnic State University, Gonzaga University, Northwestern University, Sacramento State, and Saint Mary’s College of California ... Hobbies include playing guitar and working at eclipse pizza.
