Nicola currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Nevada Track & Field.
Ader competed for Nevada Track & Field from 2017 to 2022, primarily participating in the Long Jump, High Jump, Pentathlon, and Heptathlon.
Nicola was a 7-time Track & Field All-American, highlighted by her 2019 season where she was named an All-American in four different events (Indoor High Jump, Outdoor Heptathlon, Outdoor High Jump, and Outdoor Long Jump).
Some of Ader’s personal bests at Nevada included a score of 5,836 points in the Heptathlon, 6.34m in the Outdoor Long Jump, and 1.83m in the Indoor High Jump. Ader’s Heptathlon 5,836-point total is a Nevada record and tied-Mountain West record.
During her 5-season Indoor career at Nevada, Nicola won 4 gold medals and totaled 40 points at the Mountain West Championships. At the Outdoor Mountain West Championships, Ader won 3 golds, 2 silvers, and 3 bronzes, totaling 77 points in 4 outdoor seasons. Ader also won the 2022 Mountain West Championship Outstanding Performer of the Meet award, scoring 32 points and earning a gold medal in the high jump, a silver in each in the long jump and javelin, and a bronze in the 100m hurdles.
Ader also represented Germany in the heptathlon at the 2022 Thorpe Cup in Dallas, Texas, finishing third overall.
Most recently, Ader was nominated for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year award.
