SENIOR OUTDOOR (2022) – Competed in six meets during the season ... Best score in the heptathlon this season was 4,828 points at the MW Championships ...This score earned the team three points ... Earned a personal best in the shot put with a distance of 11.34m ... Earned six top-10 finishes throughout the season.

SENIOR INDOOR (2022) – Competed in five meets during her senior season ... Earned a personal best in the pentathlon at the MW Championships with her point total of 3,215 ... Earned two other personal bests during the season ... In the long jump, Sommerfeld ended with a personal best mark 5.07m at the MW Championships ... The Championships would see Sommerfeld also earn a personal best in the high jump with a height of 1.55m.

JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2020) – Competed in eight events ... Finished in 5th at the Mountain West Championship in the heptathlon with a point total of 5,061 that also moved her to 10th all-time at Nevada ... She also finished in 7th at the Championships in the javelin with a distance of 40.35m ... She would earn her team six points ... Also earned a 1st place finish in the Sacramento State Tri-Team Challenge in the javelin with a distance of 40.30m. 

JUNIOR INDOOR (2020) – Did not compete.

SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2020) – Canceled due to COVID-19 

SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2020) – Finished in 12th place at the Mountain West Championship in the pentathlon with her total score of 3,208 points ... Finished 3rd in the shot put during the pentathlon with her distance of 11.24m ... Best 60m dash time was 8.16 ... Also competed in the 60m hurdles during the Mountain West Championship where she earned a time of 9.20. 

PREVIOUS – Owns a heptathlon PR of 4769 points, set at the Middle German Championships . . . 200m PR is 25.24 seconds, 100m PR is 12.31 seconds.

PERSONAL – Came to Nevada because of the great facilities and warm weather . . . Intended major at Nevada is business . . . Also recruited by Loyola Chicago, Elon University and Texas A&M.
