Tom Jaekel is entering his first season as the primary media contact for Nevada Tennis, and second overall in college athletics. Jaekel also serves as the secondary contact for Wolf Pack volleyball and softball, overseeing statistics for both programs.
Jaekel is responsible for inputting and correcting statistics, developing game notes, and digitizing archived box scores for the website. He is the statistics point-of-contact.
Before Nevada, Jaekel worked as the team manager for 13 Tracy High School sports teams, tracking statistics and updating MaxPreps for all teams. He also worked with the Stockton Heat Hockey Club as an off-ice official during his senior year of high school. Jaekel graduated from Tracy High in May 2022.
Jaekel is currently a sophomore studying Business Management and Marketing, with a minor in Sports Management. He is on track to graduate in Spring 2026.
