Selma Hidass enters her second season with the Wolf Pack as an assistant coach in 2017-18. In her first year assisting head coach Guillaume Tonelli, Hidass helped guide Nevada to the No. 5 seed in the Mountain West Championship. Three players were awarded with All-Mountain West honors, including Claudia Herrero being named MW Player of the Year. 

Hidass represented Morocco in beach tennis world championships in Moscow and the Mediterranean games in Italy in 2015. She won two national Moroccan championships with the Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc and finished as runner up in 2015. 

Hidass is from Rabat, Morocco. She has a brother, Younes, and sister, Yousra. She loves the Reno area because of the outdoor activities it offers all year round.

In 2012 she graduated from Saint Leo University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting where she played for the Lions and was awarded Sunshine State Conference honors her senior year. She is currently working on her master’s degree from the University of Nevada.
