2015-16 (Fr):
 Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors and was named to the spring MW All-Academic team … Competed in all seven regular season events and the Mountain West Championships, competing in multiple events … Tallied season-best times in three events at the conference meet, placing 27th in the 200 back (2:04.38), 28th in the 100 fly (57.14) and 35th in the 100 back (57.67) … Also swam in the 50 free at the conference meet … Tallied one top-five finish on the season, placing fourth in the 100 back in Nevada’s dual win over San Jose State … Helped lead the Wolf Pack to an undefeated 10-0 record, the first Mountain West championship in program history and a top 25 CSCAA national ranking … Letter winner.

PRIOR TO NEVADA
Graduated from Pueblo County High School … Was a four-year letter winner on the swimming team … Led the team to a South-Central League championship as a junior and senior … Set conference records in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke … Was named co-captain and team’s Swimmer of the Year as a senior … Also swam competitively for the Pueblo County AAU swim team and was named to the Colorado All-Star team … Three-time All-Academic selection in high school … Placed eighth in the 200-yard breaststroke at the USA Southern Sectionals.

Born Jolene Marie Norton … Daughter of Chuck and Bonnie Norton … Has a brother, Charles, and a sister, Sabrina … Intends to major in journalism at Nevada … Chose to attend Nevada because of the journalism program, swim team and school spirit … Also received recruiting interest from the University of Houston … Hobbies include music, dancing and drawing.
