  • Title
    Volunteer Assistant Swim Coach
Following a prestigious four-year swimming career with the Nevada swimming and diving program, Riley Hilbrandt begins her coaching career in 2017-18 as a volunteer assistant coach with the Wolf Pack.

By the time Hilbrandt was finished donning the Silver and Blue, she found herself as one of the best breaststroke swimmers in Wolf Pack history. She holds the eighth-best time in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:03.06 and also has three other top 10 times in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.55 5th, 2:15.14, 7th, 2:15.63 8th).

In 2016, Hilbrandt helped lead the Pack to an undefeated 10-0 record, which was cemented with the first Mountain West Championship in program history and a top 25 CSCAA national ranking. That same year she earned her first of two All-Mountain West team honors, after advancing to the A finals and finishing fifth overall in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:14.55.

Her senior campaign was capped off by recording four of Nevada’s top five times in the 200-yard breaststroke, including a season-best 2:15.63. She also found herself come out on top with two individual victories, as well as seven other top three finishes.

Hilbrandt graduated from the University of Nevada in 2017 with a degree in public health and is currently pursing her master’s at Nevada in educational leadership.Â
