Reese Lamph joins the Wolf Pack for her first season as a Division I coach following a successful collegiate swimming career. Lamph competed for Nevada from 2020 to 2022 after transferring from the University of Houston, where she once held the school record in the 1650 freestyle (16:30.62).
During her time with the Wolf Pack, Lamph made a significant impact as a distance swimmer and IM specialist. Her standout season came in 2021, when she helped lead Nevada to a runner-up finish at the conference championship and earned multiple individual event finals and consolation appearances. She consistently scored points for the Pack in the 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle, and 400 IM.
A graduate of Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lamph had a decorated prep career, holding school records in the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay. She also trained with the nationally recognized Sandpipers of Nevada under U.S. Olympic coach Ron Aitken.
Lamph’s passion for coaching was shaped by her experiences with Coach Aitken and through her role as an assistant coach alongside her mother, Becky Lamph, head coach at Andelson High School in Las Vegas. These formative experiences have prepared her to take the next step in her coaching journey at the NCAA Division I level.
