Graduated from Preparatoria La Salle – Unidad Condesa in Mexico City (2024)… Represented Mexico City in national competitions… Earned national medals in springboard and platform… Won the Mexico City Games in both springboard and platform… Part of multiple state and district championship teams… Began diving career in 2021 and quickly rose to the national level.

Daughter of Roberto Ruiz Rodriguez and Catalina Rocandio Vazquez… Has one sister, Katia… Majoring in Marketing with plans to pursue a career in sports marketing… Chose Nevada for the opportunity to combine athletics and academics at a high level… Also recruited by Southern Illinois University… Sports hero is Tom Daley… Most memorable career moment was winning her first national medal at age 11… Enjoys baking healthy desserts, going to the gym, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
