Biography
PRIOR TO NEVADA
Swam one season at American River College in Sacramento, Calif.… Earned MVP honors and was named Sophomore of the Year in Athletics… Set the CCCAA State Record in the 100 fly (54.77)… Also a record holder in the 50 fly, 100 fly, and 200 fly… Posted career-best times of 54.77 (100 fly), 23.72 (50 free), and 51.3 (100 free)… Helped ARC to a third-place finish at the 3C2A State Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Prepped at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, Calif.… Four-year letterwinner in swimming and also lettered in snowboarding (2023)… Two-time All-American… Five-time record holder including the 100 fly (55.4) and 200 free (1:52.16) along with three relay records… Won league championships in swimming (2022, 2023).
PERSONAL
Daughter of Aaron Wham and Joanna Jacobson… Has one brother, Collin (22)… Majoring in Public Health with plans to pursue a career in Nursing… Previously earned an AA in Social Science from American River College… Chose Nevada to be part of a successful program surrounded by passionate coaches and teammates… Recruited by Hawaii and San Diego State… Sports hero is Gretchen Walsh… Works as an EMT and lifeguard for California State Parks during the summer… Enjoys art, literature, and playing piano in her free time.
