Biography
2019-20 (Jr.): Saw the pool in every meet including the Mountain West Championship to wrap the season up … Scored 14 points in two events during the championship meet … Placed 15th in the 400 IM with a season best time of 4:26.43 before recording a career best time in the 200 breast prelims with a time of 2:20.81 … Went on to finish 23rd overall in the 200 breast with a time of 2:21.87 … Also had season best times in the 200 IM at the Phill Hansel Invite with a time of 2:05.34 and in the 200 fly in the dual meet win over UC Davis – 2:14.22.
2018-19 (So.): Scored 2 points at the 2019 Mountain West Championships after a 23rd place finish in the 400 IM … Also finished 27th in the 200 breaststroke and 34th in the 200 IM … Posted season bests of 2:22.16 in the 200 breast, 2:06.04 in the 200 IM and 4:27.66 in the 400 IM … Named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete … Letter winner.
2017-18 (Fr.): Served as a versatile swimmer in her freshman season who competed in freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and individual medley events … Recorded career-best times in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.98) and 200-yard IM (2:04.56) at the Mountain West Championship … Posted the best times of her career in the 100-yard freestyle (52.79) and the 400-yard IM (4:25.78) at the Husky Invite … Finished fourth in the 1,650-freestyle in the Pack’s dual meet win over intrastate rival UNLV … Letterwinner.
PRIOR TO NEVADA
A six-time California Interscholastic Federation (CIF)-Central Coast Section (CCS) Finalist … Her best times are in the 400 IM (4:25.36) at the 2016 Santa Clara Walk-On Meet, the 200 IM (2:05.01) at the CCS Championships this past May and the 200 freestyle (1:52.92) at the 2015 Holiday Swim Festival … Lists her proudest swimming accomplishment when she placed in the top eight for both of her events at the section championships this past spring.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Robert and Cynthia Hartman ... Has a sister, Samantha, who attends UCLA ... Chose Nevada because “I felt the coaching staff and team would do everything they could to push me to reach my full potential in swimming and to push me outside of the pool – in academics and life.”
